Upgrading the Mondeo
Ford has introduced three new significant upgrades for the Mondeo, including a new 2.0-litre diesel engine. This EcoBlue technology makes the Mondeo perfect for long-distance performance and exceeds new Euro 6d Temp standards for emissions.

Ford has built in its regenerative braking technology to capture 90 per cent of energy lost for battery recharging on the go. Emissions are expected to be as low as 98g/km for the four-door hybrid coupe. Energy consumption and fuel will be monitored using the innovative SmartGauge. This includes Brake Coach, an interface that encourages gentle braking and optimal return of energy to the hybrid battery.
